Where We're Based
The Academy of Sport is based at our Carmarthen campus, but if you’re studying in Swansea or Lampeter don’t worry - we’ll help you attend training sessions and games with transport assistance. We also run regular satellite sessions on our campuses in Cardiff, Birmingham and London, so you can stay fit and active during your degree.

Get professional-level coaching and strength and conditioning training, as well as advice on nutrition, diet and lifestyle. You’ll train in brand-new gym facilities, fully kitted out with industry-leading equipment from Black Box, and enjoy regular opportunities to compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) leagues, events and championships. Our experienced staff and coaching pros are on hand to help you thrive, with the insider info on what it takes to succeed in the world of sport.

Men’s and Women’s Football, Men’s and Women’s Rugby, and Women’s Netball are the focus team sports of the UWN Academy of Sport. But we’ll also support you to pursue whatever else gets you excited, like athletics, cycling and even triathlons.
